It is situated in the center of Chan-Chan (near Trujillo). Tschudi site is different thanks to its complete and very well-done restoration. It is compounded by a massive wall of 4 m thickness, with inside a ceremonial court, then, a little bit far, a wall, carved with aquatic paintings lead to a labyrinth of rooms that is decorated with murals representing the marine fauna and flora. After passing a second court, you arrive in the military area and to the mausoleum that houses the rests of a Chimu king, a pyramid and an assembly room. This wall complex measures about 13 m high, but the labyrinth and the edifices are also truly wonders inside of the great ruins that are Chan-Chan.
